AYURCHETANA's mission is to safeguard/promote good health
and well being. AYURCHETANA follows a holistic treatment approach, encompassing all aspects of diet, lifestyle, and
ayurvedic medicines.
AYURCHETANA is lead by the duo of Dr. Sharmila Bhat and Dr. Sadashiv S. Gore, highly competent traditional
ayurvedic practitioners with over 20 years of expertise in clinical practice.
Dr. Sharmila Bhat, BAMS, TCEM, (MS, Psychotherapy and Counseling),
Reiki (II degree), an alumna of Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Bangalore was trained under the guidance of (Late)
Dr. C. K. B. Panicker, Chief Physician, Kerala Pharmacy, Bangalore.
She focuses on treating various ailments including chronic
problems related to gastro intestinal tract (GIT), gyneacology, skin disorders, infertility, and pediatrics.
Dr. Bhat also offers clinical counseling for psychological
conditions and provides help and support to manage stress, workplace issues, challenges during childhood and adolescence,
and pre-marital/marital problems. Additionally she renders her services as a lecturer at Ramakrishna Ayurvedic College,
Bangalore. Dr. Bhat's special passion is to work
for the good health and well being of rural population.
Dr. Sadashiv S. Gore, B.A.M.S, (MS, Sexuality and Sexual
Counseling), Reiki Master also an alumna of Government College of Indian Medicine, Bangalore hails from a family closely associated
with ayurvedic practices and medicines.
Dr. Gore has been successfully helping patients overcome
complications of diabeties, infertility, obesity, arthritis, and skin disorders.
Dr. Gore is a passionate teacher offering his services
as a lecturer at Indian Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine and Research, Bangalore, Visting faculty (psychology) at Bangalore
University, and the Indian Institute of Psychology and Research. He is a Reiki Master and conducts regular
classess for imparting Reiki awareness and education. A noteworthy achievement is the overwhelming success of his Reiki
program for health care givers (home nurses) at Hubli.
