Interns Speak

The internship at AYURCHETANA has been invaluable in my overall training to be an Ayurvedic practitioner.  At a time when most establishments refused to let me gain practical experience, AYURCHETANA welcomed me to train in their premises.  Dr. Sharmila Bhat was very generous with her time and helped me understand the naunces of practising ayurveda with seemingly unending patience.

I have greatly benifitted from this experience and hope several others will utilize the opportunity to be trained at AYURCHETANA

-Dr. DATTA PRASAD, Ayurvedic practitioner

I am a student of Ayurveda, studying in a rural Ayurvedic college.  I came to Bangalore during vacation to gain knowledge and experience on using ayurvedic medicines in general practice.  I struggled for several days to find a doctor/clinic that was willing to accomodate me.

I then met Dr. Sharmila Bhat, who readily agreed to let me train at AYURCHETANA.  During my training, I gained practical experience in clinical diagnosis of diseases, learnt the use of simple, inexpensive ayurvedic medicines for treating chronic ailments, drug mixing, dispensing, and advicing patients on diet.  This training helped boost my confidence to practise ayurveda independently.
